B'Jean Abbott
President & CEO, Ohana Assistance FoundationB'Jean Abbott is the President and CEO of the Ohana Assistance Foundation, where he leads efforts to support and uplift homeless populations across Kern County. With over two years of hands-on experience in the nonprofit sector, B'Jean has demonstrated a strong commitment to community impact and social change.
He holds a degree in Business Administration from Bakersfield College and is currently continuing his education in Business Administration with a focus on Management at California State University, Bakersfield. B'Jean brings a strategic, compassionate, and results-driven approach to leadership, making his valuable voice on any board focused on social services, community development, or nonprofit governance.

Chrystal Abbott is an accomplished Human Resources professional with over 22 years of dedicated service in Kern County. Throughout her career, Chrystal has worked closely with a wide range of local businesses, helping to shape strong workplace cultures, implement effective HR strategies, and ensure compliance with ever-evolving employment laws. Her expertise spans the full spectrum of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and organizational development.
Chrystal holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Human Resources, reflecting both her academic commitment and practical experience in the field. Her passion for people, combined with her strategic insight, has made her a trusted advisor to business leaders and a respected mentor to upcoming HR professionals.
Her contributions to the HR community have not gone unnoticed. Chrystal has been recognized by her peers and the Kern County chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) as one of the top HR professionals in the region — a testament to her leadership, integrity, and impact on the local business community.
